There has been a move away from holiness and consecration in our contemporary church culture. In our desire to be relevant and current, we tend to abandon biblical virtues we don’t like or understand, which distinguish us as believers who live under the Lordship of Christ.
The Greek word, hagios (ἅγιος), is an adjective that means "holy" or "sacred". It can also mean "set apart by God" or "different from the world". We can easily default to unhealthy representations that reduce this godly attribute to legalism, practices, and Pentecostalism.

It is not old-fashioned or irrelevant; it is a crucial virtue to be welcomed and embraced. How can you embrace and express holiness in your life today? - Pastor Jimmy
