Holy Week. Maundy Thursday. Many prophetic events unfolded around Jesus. Passover, the last Supper, Judas’ outed, prayer and arrest at Gethsemane, betrayed by friends, illegal trial and abuse by the Sanhedrin, denied three times by Peter. Utterly abandoned.

When Peter realized he had fallen just as Jesus said, “he went outside and wept bitterly.” Aren’t you thankful that you are not known and identified by your darkest moment on your worst day? Peter is too.

Maundy Thursday is a solemn day. A day for reflection as we realize the brutality that awaits our Savior that we so love. Not everyday is TGiF. It is good for us to remember and be thankful that His spirit was willing even when His flesh was weak. He did it for you my friend. - Pastor Jimmy
