A “Messenger” appeared to Daniel while he was seeking God in a season of prayer and fasting. The Messenger came to encourage Daniel and to let him know, “Since the first day you set your mind to gain understanding... your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.”
Daniel had prayed for three weeks before the Messenger came. The enemy had been resisting the answer to his prayer, thus causing the delay. You can be confident and know: He heard you the first time you approached His throne.
