Humankind’s greatest driver is not the search for happiness, peace, or wealth. It is the fear of death.
We put off thinking about death and live in a state of denial of the inevitable, the end of life as we know it.
However, for the Christian, physical death is a transition into the most glorious and beautiful “life” you will ever experience.
When you are confident of the glory that awaits, it informs and permeates everything you do in the here and now.
Jesus lived the way he did in this world and for this world, because his hope was set beyond this world.
