Last night, we held a worship and baptism celebration service. We were blessed to baptize 28 people who said, “Yes,” to Jesus as both Savior and Lord. It was a beautiful evening filled with joy, praise, worship, and exhortation. The atmosphere was palpable and electric with life.
We held a mandatory class to ensure that every person understood what they were doing and the importance of baptism and lordship. When one confesses, “Jesus is Lord,” they are affirming Jesus as their master, the one who has supreme authority over their life.
Being saved is more than getting a heavenly insurance policy. You are saying, “Jesus is on the throne of my entire life. He is Sovereign, King, and Lord. I am His. I am not my own. I was bought with a price.” Take a moment to reaffirm His Lordship, and recall your gospel story. - Pastor Jimmy
