We tend to gravitate toward that which is more complicated. Keeping things simple and direct is a challenge for most. When it comes to Jesus' second coming, the theories and postulations abound. We do not know the time.
However, we do know we are to continue working on our assignments until He returns as if He were going to return tomorrow. We are to be found faithful in executing our mission while waiting until that day.
I am glad we don't know the time or the hour, as it would create lethargy and ambivalence even more than we see today. Our role is to spend more time fulfilling His mission than postulating our position. He is coming again, but until that day, let's be found faithful. - Pastor Jimmy
