Let's Pray

Let's Pray

If ever there was a need for earnest prayer, it is now. National and global events have escalated to a boiling point, government overreach threatens the core of our constitutional republic, and the removal of Christianity from the public square continues to diminish our voice and influence.

The apostle Paul spoke often about the centrality of prayer in a believer's life. It is akin to oxygen for living. You will not survive, much less thrive, without it. Brother Lawrence, a Carmelite monk in the 1600s, was known for practicing the presence of God through devoted and continuous prayer.

Like Paul and Brother Lawrence, let everything that happens in this present moment be a cue for you to pray. Bad news? Let's pray. Traveling? Let's pray. Election year? Let's pray. Broken relationship? Let's pray. Family crisis? Let's pray.Need revival? Let's pray. - Pastor Jimmy
