We had a storm come through in the middle of the night. Have you ever noticed how clear the air is after a storm? The storms, tests, and deserts that come your way have the potential to strengthen, develop, and clear the air in your life too.
On the heels of his glorious baptism by John in the Jordan, Jesus was led into the desert by the Spirit to be tested by the devil. God always tests his work in us. As Jesus rightly related to the test, he came out of the desert in the power of the Spirit.
As you engage this week, know that as you pass the tests that come, God is cultivating resilience, resolve, and perseverance in you. When the next storm comes, face it confidently, knowing that God is going to use it to empower and equip you for the next season of assignments. - Pastor Jimmy
