Grace. It’s an overused and abused term. It has been used to convince Christians that there is little to nothing left to do, that Jesus did it all. If you were to ask Paul or any Christian martyr, they would have a different take.
Grace is God’s power, strength, ability, authority, and favor to do what you cannot do in and of yourself. It’s not passive. The Great Commissions of Acts 1, Matthew 28, and Mark 16 are about doing, working, laboring, and executing; not passively waiting, sitting, or capitulating.
Live holy, suit up, and show up. We are called and empowered to take the Gospel to the world, starting right where we live, work, and play; then going out in ever-widening concentric circles. Co-laboring with Christ, we are to occupy until He returns. - PJ
