Monday Momentum
The Bible is filled with hundreds of promises that motivate and inspire us as we navigate the landscape of this world. Today’s verse reminds us to consecrate (set apart; commit) our work and endeavors to the Lord.
The scripture promises that when we “commit” our works to Him, they will literally roll off us, and He will see that they come to pass. The Hebrew word is “galal,” meaning to roll off, down, or away.
The picture is of a camel burdened with a heavy load. When the load is to be removed, the camel kneels down, tilts far to one side, and the load rolls off, relieving the camel of its weighty burden.
As you begin a new week, commit all of your works, activities, and to-do lists to the Lord. The promise holds; He will come alongside to ensure that your plans will come to pass. Have an amazing week, on purpose! - Pastor Jimmy
