I was approached at the end of two services and a membership class. I had spoken at all three events back to back. You would think I would be exhausted. I was not. I was rejuvenated.
The person who approached me said, 'You are saying many of the same words, but they are coming out differently. You are not the same person. I needed to tell you that.'
Something profound happened to Annette and I when we scheduled intentional time to be with Jesus. We introduced practices into our daily rhythms that would be sustainable outside of a sabbatical season.
We drew near to God, God drew near to us. It’s beyond words. All who spend extended time in His presence will be marked and nothing can substitute for intentional and consistent time in His presence. - Pastor Jimmy
