I had the honor of officiating my third funeral of the year yesterday and I will have another service to perform in about ten days. For me, the veil (separation) between heaven and earth is getting thinner and thinner.
When Jesus released his spirit on the cross, the veil of the Temple was ripped from top to bottom. The veil was four inches thick and made of various kinds of fabric and it separated the people from the presence of God. Only a cataclysmic event could have physically ripped the veil in two.
This was an answer to Jesus’ prayer, “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” In a moment the fulness of God’s kingdom was released upon the earth and the veil (separation) between heaven and earth was removed for eternity.
Jesus made a way where there was no way. He is THE way, THE truth, and THE life. You can enjoy the fulness of God’s presence with no barrier between you and your heavenly Father. No veil. No separation. Only full access into his presence every moment of every day. - Pastor Jimmy
