The Morning Grind ☕️ - We Must Strengthen Our Resolve
I was informed yesterday after our services that there was an elevated intelligence threat alert for churches due to October 7th being the anniversary of the heinous attacks against Israel. There was an attempted attack that was thwarted, with shots fired at a church in a nearby community.
It provoked me to focus and define my perspective. No matter how dark and demonic this world becomes, there will be a day when Jesus will wipe away every tear. These kinds of threats do not incite fear in me; on the contrary, they remind me of the mission God has called me to, in life or death.
I believe we are coming into a season where following Christ will cost more than ever. I’m good with that. In fact, I think the result will be a sifting of the wheat from the chaff, and revivals will continue to break out in unprecedented numbers.
In our Declaration of Independence, our founding fathers pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to God and to one another. We must strengthen our resolve and do the same, without fear, without trepidation, and without worry for our lives. - Pastor Jimmy
