There is something remarkable about firsts: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." The first and greatest commandment, to "Love the Lord your God with all your heart..." Jesus was resurrected on the first day of the week. The first miracle of Jesus was in Cana of Galilee.
"The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother..." All that Israel had prayed and believed for was materializing right in front of Andrew. The long-anticipated Messiah was here, and the first thing Andrew did was share the Good News, the Gospel of Jesus' arrival. First things matter.
Who has first place in your life? Don't answer too quickly. Where you spend your time, energy, and attention will reveal the real answer. Give Jesus first place right now. He must be preeminent and before all else and all others, or everything in your life will be out of order. - Pastor Jimmy
