God is not keeping you in the dark. He is trying to cultivate your relationship so that when He speaks, you listen and act. For the Israelites in the desert, it was a pillar of fire and a cloud. For Elijah, it was a still small voice.
Through the prophet Isaiah, God said, "Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, this is the way.“ It was a foreshadowing of the work and ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Pause and pray, "Father, I want to hear the voice of Your Spirit. I am listening. When You speak, I will be quick to respond and obey. Train my ears to hear that I may obey and act with clarity and confidence. Amen." - Pastor Jimmy
