I learned about the power of words as a young believer, hungry and eager to grow in faith. I could take God's Word and make prayerful declarations that renewed my mind, encouraged my heart, and empowered my spirit.
Today's passage reminds us that because of God's mercy, He has raised us up together with Christ and seated us in Christ in the heavenly realms. That's not a future wish; it is a present reality.
This is a game-changer in how you see, interpret, and navigate the world. It is also a lens through which you see yourself: seated in Christ, at the right hand of the Father, in the place of authority and favor.
