James can be as subtle as a cinderblock. However, growing up playing sports and with a first-responder dad, I’m good with direct and to the point; most folks are not good with it these days. "Triggered" is the newest buzzword to replace "offended." I say, “Bring it on, James.”
Could scripture be any clearer? James might as well be living today and speaking the truth as a clarion voice to our culture. "Get rid of..." The imagery here is that of stripping off dirty clothes to distance oneself from the germs and contamination they carry. It’s time to shed those old clothes.
