This is an important day here in America. On this day, we, who are apprentices of Jesus, let our voices be heard at the ballot box. Do not neglect your right and your duty. Your vote matters. Embrace the metaphor of a Watchman and exercise your right.
The Bible uses the term “Watchman” in a few different contexts, but in Isaiah 62:6, it refers to someone who keeps watch over a city's walls, both for literal threats and for the spiritual well-being of the people inside.
Our founding fathers, many of whom were working or retired pastors, understood the need to build our nation on the foundation of God’s Word. That foundation continues to be attacked, and as Watchmen, let us sound the alarm as stewards and servants of the King of Kings. - Ps Jimmy
